This first year Juv is gliding high. A beautiful sight as it passes over me..... Seems to have this down...Landing, well getting better.
The classic pose. Artistic filters applied.
This distant branch has been stripped clean to serve as a perch for the baby to use while learning to fly. The baby flies back and forth from the nest to this branch during the first days of flight.
The Bald Eagle call is unique. What a great time I had photographing this nest and listening to these beautiful birds calling to each other.
Finally...A perfect landing.
