  • Owls Head Light. This is on the eastern most point of the Rockland harbor. The fog is always thick when I visit this area.
  • Hendrick's Head Light. This is located in Sheepscot Bay on Southport Island near Boothbay Harbor, Maine.
  • The Cuckolds Lighthouse. Located in Cape Harbor off Southport Island near Newagen, Maine.
  • Rockland Breakwater Light. Located in Rockland Maine, this lighthouse sits at the end of the breakwater which was constructed to separate Rockland Harbor from the West Penobscot Bay.
  • Egg Rock Lighthouse, Artistic Design. This image was taken during Hurricane Bill. Egg Rock Lighthouse is located in Frenchman Bay between the Schoodic Peninsula and Mt. Desert Island, Maine.
  • Marshall Point Light marks the eastern side of the south entrance to Port Clyde Harbor, Maine. The original light was built in 1832 and the present light, which is 31' tall, was built in 1857. The light was automated in 1971. The grounds are perfectly kept and the lighthouse museum displays memorabilia related to the town and three area lighthouses. Its a must see if your in the area.

  • Curtis Island Light. Located off the coast from Camden, Maine in the West Penobscot Bay can only be viewed by boat. Built in 1896, this lighthouse stand 25 ft. high.
  • East Quoddy Head Light. Located on Campobello Island in New Brunswick, Canada.
  • Cape Neddick Light (Nubble Lighthouse) is located in York, Maine. Built in 1879 , the lighthouse tower stands 88 ft. above mean high water. Sohier Park allows access which is very close to the lighthouse. No long lens needed here and photos are taken looking north so any time of the day is good but naturally morning or evening light is best. There are seafood shacks with great food and lots to see....
